Mangrove Magazine

Mangrove Magazine ♡

Mangrove Magazine is a labor of love that compiles the creativity of QTBIPOC abolitionist artists and organizers from all over Turtle Island. With this publication, we intend to create an environment where abolitionist ideas, art, and culture can be shared and disseminated freely. This magazine is meant to be one method by which we bring forward the creation of a next world where joy, life, and beauty are central to our existence and we are encouraged to come together to build it. Like the mangroves that protect our precious coastal shores, this publication is a portal where the futures we are determined to build can be seen, rooted, and encouraged to thrive.

Contribute to our Ask an Abolitionist Column!

Ask an Abolitionist provides a space for readers to expand their understanding of how issues could be approached through an anti-punishment lens. We invite readers to submit questions—from personal reflections to broader societal inquiries—and get direct insight from the perspectives of the organizers at The Healing Underground, many of whom are trained in equity-informed conflict mediation.

Note: Not all questions will be answered or included in the Magazine. Please submit your question in this form by May 5th for the chance to see it in our first issue!
